Well it’s May first. Which means… let’s see…
- We’re almost on top of Free Comic Book Day.
- It’s International Worker’s Day, and I have to go to a meeting in a few.
- I’m behind on my writing.

But all of that is bullshit compared to this next fact! In 1978 the first unsolicited bulk commercial e-mail (Oh yes, the first spam) was sent by a DEC marketing representative to every ARPANET address on the west coast of the United States.
