Oh, Gimili!

APK | May 1, 2007 | 8:59 am

(via The Inquirer): The Lord of the rings online game (what you kids call a MMORPG) has removed the feature to let characters get married. The dev team had been playing with the idea of the feature for a while but in the end they decided to scrap it because of complications.

Not with the code, of course.

No they weren’t sure if they should allow gay characters to marry. They were afraid of pissing off a large part of that middle American gay bashing MMORPG loving audience I guess. Or something.

But then they wondered if dwarves should be allowed to marry hobbits.

And you see where this problem went. So now, no one can get married. All because of gay dwarves.

Or something.
