The principle couldn’t be simpler: get a little moustache tattooed on the side of your index finger. If at any time you need to wear a moustache, perhaps as a disguise, you’re all set up.

Now, all right. Fingerstaches, as they’re known, as becoming “popular”. I’m not really sure how popular “popular” is these days. One of the tattoo artists says he’s done as many as 15 in one day. But that doesn’t really help.
Still, all right, let’s assume they are decently popular. People are getting little mustaches tattooed on their fingers so when they hold them up to their lips it looks … like … they used a magic marker.
Why not just keep a magic marker around? What if you want to restyle the fingerstache? What then, Binky? What then? I mean how can this be a good idea?
Maybe I’m getting old and starting to rant about those damn kids, but I don’t think so. I think this is just full of stupid. Tattoos are all well and good, in general, but some things are just dumb.
I have to now assume that someone has a tattoo of two eyes on their index finger as well. You know, a Senor Wences tattoo. These must be out there as well. We’re at the point where MR. COOL ICE is no longer special. He’s just a normal guy, doing a normal thing. Comparatively.

what the hell? that is MY picture on this site. how did you even get that? my friend sent me think link because she stumbled upon it. and ill have you know… fingerstaches ARE NOT dumb. have you ever had a friend who is having a really bad day? have you ever done something or said something that automatically cheers them up? maybe fingerstaches are just a handy and funny way to brighten other peoples days. ever think about that? do you know how many people have laughed when they have seen my tattoo? do you know how that feels to know that ive made someone laugh… ive brightened their day… even if its just a little. its still brightened. maybe that never crossed your mind. maybe its spreading a little joy throughout your days. maybe its not just a stupid trend.
