Milk and sugar.

Downstairs getting coffee. Guy down there with his girlfriend (He’s asian, she’s black. This matters to this story.) He is making up some coffee, adding milk and looking at it. Finally he holds the cup near his girlfriend’s arm. He peers at the cup and then at her arm. He adds a bit more cream. Looks into the cup. Looks at her arm. She’s not paying much attention to it, talking to a friend. I notice it and finally give in. I tried to resist but I was not strong enough.

“Oh man,” I say on the verge of laughter.

“What?” he asks me not sure what’s going on.

“You actually… you like your coffee like you like your women. Ho. Lee. Shit. That is fantastic!”

At this point he’s cracking up, I’m cracking up and his girlfriend is cracking up. Then we all stared at his coffee and offered suggestions to adjust it for skin tone.
