Excuse me, would you like to buy a book?
APK | August 4, 2008 | 9:23 amIt’s August, and my birthday is on the 19th. So, to honor the fact that this month is all about me (which it isn’t, at all as many friends have birthday in august) I have decided to start the first week of August off right: with an ad for my latest book.
Crazy Little Things is something I am astoundingly proud of. It’s also pretty. Here, check that cover:
The book itself is 268 pages of goodness. It has a preface from Laszlo Xalieri (author of Sweat) and an Introduction by Travis Ingram as well as well as twelve stories by me. Count them 12! In order they are:
- Pretty Little Dead Girls
- Futuristic Cybernetic Fairy Assassin Hasballah
- Meat
- Mister Binkles and the Curious Case of Changed Perspective
- Causing Effect
- After These Messages…
- High Noon of the Living Dead
- Mister Binkles and the Highly Adaptable Future
- Flesh Wounds
- Dead Side Story
- Crazy Little Thing
- Ode to Brains
That’s both Mister Binkles tales and the novella (and title story) Crazy Little Thing. Speaking of which, if you are still unsure about buying the book you can read Crazy Little Thing for free. That’s right, the title story is utterly free.
So what did people thing of the book overall? Let’s ask them!
“Adam P. Knave’s collection of short fiction is a grandiose romp through a universe of vast scope and huge imagination – which was startling, because I thought the operative word was ’short’” – Dustin Grovemiller, Managing Editor, the footnote
“This book could be my best friend when I’m in the bathroom. And I’m not just saying that because I’m out of toilet paper, or a friend to wipe for me.” – Shannon Wheeler, Too Much Coffee Man
“The stories in Crazy Little Things find author Adam P. Knave at his best, offering readers a taste of literary cyanide served with a grin, much in keeping with the spirit of the late, great Robert Bloch.” – Daniel R. Robichaud, HorrorReader.com
So yes. You can buy Crazy Little Things, at a discount of 15% over at Amazon.com just by clicking any of the links to it in this post.
And if you do buy it, or have bought it, I would ask that you leave a review on Amazon. Every bit helps.

Got the book
And dangit
It’s good really good even the hubby who doesn’t like the genre liked it
I bought this book on a friend’s recommendation. (Well some witness claim he put my arm behind my back, bent me over the table and pulled out my wallet for me – but you know how reliable witnesses are these days.)
It is a breath of fresh air in today’s over saturated market of formula written mass produced books. Well crafted and written the stories pick your brain (or in some cases eat them) and keep you on your toes.
It’s a refreshingly fun book! I highly recommend it!
