I used to correct their text for grammar, spelling & punctuation and send it back to them with a grade. Then I realized that can be construed as aiding and abetting.
“They have their own legal procedure which we have examined and confirmed legal.” I thought this was my favorite until I came to the part that was all like, “many others are scam, most especially from Nigeria and Africa…. Victoria Island, Lagos 23401, Nigeria.”
YES! I love that bit so much it hurts.
Had a Nigerian friend who told me years ago about a scam where you were invited to visit Nigeria. You got picked up at the airport and driven around in circles into the jungles and your passport was taken for safe keeping. You got it back when your family paid for “your travel expenses” and you were then dropped off at the airport minus any luggage you came with.
