I liked them and this pains me in ways that I can not describe . I realize this means my brain has gone bad, and I should be put down. Maybe it’s an infection and I’m going to become a cool zombie. I’m pretty sure I freaked Palinode out at a party this weekend, in my attempts to explain why I thought they were good. I keep hoping other people’s reviews will send me straight, I’ll read your and report back.

OH. Oh. Now we can rant about Twilight together. This is awesome.

I generally won’t pick up books if I’m not interested in the concept, no matter how popular they are, but any time that a speculative fiction title receives as much attention as Twilight has, I feel obligated to check it out. ‘Cause it must be a phenomenon for some reason, right?

I think Twilight is popular ’cause a whole lot of “normal” people have never read Mary Sue relationship hurt-comfort fanfic on the Internet. But I’ll talk more about that when you’ve read the book.
